Washington has given me very different landscapes to explore—from the ferries, shoreline, and quieter rhythms of Bainbridge Island to the energy of Seattle and the mountains of the Cascades.

What stays with me most is the combination of water and mountains and that particular lushness of the Pacific Northwest. The Cascades especially have found their way into my work, sometimes long after I’ve left them.

For now, I’ve brought all of my Washington work together here. It reflects different trips and different experiences of the state—and, as with so many places in this Atlas, there is still much more I want to explore.
