Texas is my home state. Although my immediate family has been in California for many years, much of my extended family is still there, and I return about once a year for family reunions.

Perhaps because Texas has always been connected more with family than with travel, I have surprisingly little work from there. The few pieces gathered here represent a place that remains part of my personal history—one I continue to return to because of the people who still connect me to it.
