Santa Barbara County Drawings
Santa Barbara County moves easily between coast and inland valleys, with a landscape that changes dramatically over a relatively short distance. My work from this area stretches from the beaches and bluffs along the Pacific, through Goleta and the surrounding foothills, and inland into quieter agricultural and mountain landscapes. These are places I’ve returned to again and again—drawing and painting the changing light, open space, and distinct character of this part of California.
