I truly appreciate the time I carve out each morning for these drawings. Every day brings a different challenge, and every morning I’m transported back to a place I’ve been.
This morning, it was Soda Butte Creek in the Lamar Valley. As I drew, I could almost hear the creek gently winding its way through the valley.
Maybe that’s what I value most about this practice—the time spent looking closely, remembering, and being there again for just a little while.
