2026.05.01 Near Oak View Baseball Field, Oak View

Inspiration can happen anywhere—even at a youth baseball game. I didn’t draw this on site, but something about these oaks stayed with me—the weight of the branches, the quiet beneath them, just beyond the edge of the field. Later, I returned to it through a combination of memory and a photo, trying to hold onto that contrast: the energy of the game and the steadiness of the landscape that quietly held my attention.
