While attending a basket twining workshop in Oak View, I stepped away during a break and wandered along this path. The setting was simple, but the view—curving road, low stone wall, and the rhythm of the trees—held my attention. This drawing comes from that in-between moment, when you’re not expecting to find something, and then do.
