Morning Practice: Athabasca River, Jasper, Alberta. I do my drawings every morning — but when it comes to posting, I sometimes mosey along a little bit… or not at all! This stretch of the Athabasca River is still marked by the fires that swept through Jasper. You can see the burned trees in the background — stark reminders of what was lost, and of how resilient this landscape continues to be.
