Another quiet morning on the Ojai Saddle Trail, where the path runs through open grasslands and the Topa Topa mountains rise beyond the oaks. It’s a landscape that feels both expansive and deeply familiar—one I return to again and again.What draws me here is the simplicity of it. The trail doesn’t ask for spectacle; it offers space, light, and the chance to slow down. Walking here, with the mountains holding the horizon and the grasses shifting in the wind, feels like returning to something essential.
