2026.04.09 Trail to the Ojai Meadow

This trail is only a short distance from my house, yet it feels like stepping into another world. Within minutes, the noise of town falls away and the open land, quiet paths, and wide valley take over.I’m deeply grateful for the people who had the foresight to protect places like this. The Ojai Valley Land Conservancy has helped preserve so much of this landscape for future generations, making it possible to walk here, draw here, and feel connected to the land rather than separated from it. This drawing is as much about that gratitude as it is about the view itself.
