2026.03.24 Along the Ventura Bike Trail

Another stretch of the Ventura Bike Trail where the landscape opens wide—fields in the foreground, fences leading the eye forward, and the mountains holding the horizon. It’s one of the reasons I love riding here: even a simple trail can feel expansive.There’s a rhythm to moving through this part of Ventura County by bike. The road becomes quieter, the town falls away, and the land takes over. I’m always drawn to these moments where the ordinary becomes beautiful simply because you slow down enough to notice it.
