Santa Rosa Valley feels like a small piece of heaven tucked inside the spread of suburban Southern California. Surrounded by development, it still holds onto its agricultural roots—open land, working farms, rows of crops, and the quiet rhythm of a place shaped by the seasons.This area has been farmed for a long time, and that history is still visible in the land. I’m drawn to the contrast between cultivated fields and the rolling hills beyond, and to the feeling that this landscape has managed to hold its ground. It’s a reminder that beauty and working land can still exist side by side.
