2026.03.04 The Nā Pali Coast, Kauai, Hawaii

I drew this while thinking of my mother. She had hoped to celebrate her 90th birthday in Hawaii, but she passed shortly before we could make the trip together. Our family still went, carrying her with us in memory, and celebrated her there.The dramatic cliffs of the Nā Pali Coast felt both powerful and tender—wild beauty mixed with remembrance. This drawing holds that trip for me: a landscape, a farewell, and a quiet way of honoring her.
