Los Angeles County is a landscape of contrasts. Along the coast, Malibu opens onto the Pacific with beaches, bluffs, and rugged hills, while not far away the dense streets and architecture of downtown Los Angeles create an entirely different visual experience.

My work from the county moves between these worlds and the many landscapes in between—coastline, city, mountains, and unexpected pockets of open space. Together, they reflect the remarkable variety found within a relatively small corner of Southern California.
