Hawaii is a landscape shaped by water, wind, volcanic earth, and an extraordinary abundance of plant life. The islands feel both dramatic and intimate—steep mountains dropping toward the sea, shifting tropical skies, dense vegetation, and the constant presence of the Pacific.

For now, the work gathered here comes primarily from Kauai, an island I found endlessly compelling. As my travels and work in Hawaii continue, this collection may grow to include observations from other islands as well.
