Lykavittos Hill, Athens

A few years ago, we went to Greece and I took this photo of Lykavittos Hill in Athens. It’s the tallest hill in Athens. Unfortunately, I didn’t get to go to the top — there are so many things to do and so little time! All that means is that I have to go back.

We spent a lot of time in the Acropolis Museum and I can’t say enough about how thoughtful, inviting and knowledgeable that museum was… it had to be one of my favorites!

We also walked over to the Cycladic Museum and it was so inspiring to see all these sculptures that I had studied in art history — in person. I remember the first time I saw one of them, I was struck by how modern they looked — almost abstracted. Absolutely beautiful.
