Arroyo Seco - Pasadena
Is it hot enough for you? I think it was 110 today. I do have a window air conditioning unit in my studio and usually it cools down quickly — but today — it never completely cooled down.
I knew I wanted to paint quickly today (last day of out of state company and the heat) so I picked something that had similar colors that I had mixed on my palette.
This is from Arroyo Seco in Pasadena. I took a workshop and this was one of our painting locations. It’s hard to believe there is a little bit of seclusion in the midst of the LA megapopulus.. (Not sure if that’s a word, but it seems to describe what I mean)
Not going to write much more – dinner just arrived, too hot to cook!
