Arizona

Arizona is a landscape of dramatic shifts—red rock, high desert, deep canyons, and an immense sense of space. My time there has centered on two very different places: Sedona, with its sculptural red formations and changing light, and the Grand Canyon, where scale can be almost impossible to comprehend.
The work gathered here comes from looking closely at those landscapes—sometimes while I’m there, and sometimes later, through drawings and paintings that return to the experience.
