A Painting a Day for 90 Days Challenge
I was inspired to take up this challenge while studying painting with Mary Gilkerson. She had mentioned how, as college art professor, she rarely created much new work. She challenged herself to paint a painting a day for 90 days using a small format. She stressed the importance of blogging about it everyday keep yourself “in-line.”
I decided to do the challenge.
- First – I had to create a new website in wordpress so my blogs would always belong to me. (I blogged years ago and the platform was taken down and I lost my blogs)
- Second – I had to buy the supports.
- Third – I had to figure out when to start.
- Fourth – I decided that at the start of each week, I would figure out what I was going to paint – that way, I wouldn’t waste time each day trying to figure out what to paint!
Well, here’s the results!
Day 90 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Hard to believe I’ve reached 90! When I first started, it seemed so far away. Even the first month, the “end goal” seemed far. And then, as it often goes in life, the further along in days, the faster they moved.
Day 89 of My 90 Day Challenge
Day 89… hard to believe it’s almost over. I think I would feel sad, except some new cradled boards (a lot larger than what I’ve been painting on for this project) arrived today from Jerry’s Artarama and I have to admit…
Day 88 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
A number of these pieces I know I’ll paint them again — only larger. This is one of them. The flow of the glacier rivulets are fascinating on a number of levels. Visually, they way they wind through the landscape is enjoyable and intriguing.
Day 87 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
k, I know this is Alaska… but once in awhile, my Southern childhood accent just pops in my head and I can’t get it out. This is the case with this one. I know you can’t see the bear — but there is one there. And, off to the right that isn’t in the painting, there is more.
Day 86 of My 90 Day Challenge
Today I brought my daily painting back to Ojai. (But, I might go back to Alaska tomorrow!) This is from Meditation Mount. They have beautiful grounds to mediate and walk through as well as different events.
Day 85 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I just can’t seem to let Denali go… the grandeur… the colors… I just can’t help revisiting it. This board suits the subject matter: it’s 4″ x 12″. I had been saving that size for something special… can’t think of anything more special than Denali!
Day 84 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Oh how glorious it was to work in my studio today: no rush, no where to be. I just got to get into the groove and paint.
Day 83 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
The only time that I have a hard time working on these is days that I work. It can be hard to come home, have dinner and then go to my studio when I’m tired and frankly, I want to chillax! But, once I’m in the studio, I tend to be happy.
Day 82 of My 90 Day Challenge
We arrived home from Alaska late last night, but I think part of me is still there…I think I’ll be painting Alaska for awhile!
Day 81 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Our last day in Alaska was a busy one. We saw the Alaskan pipeline and panned for gold. We learned about the area and how Fairbanks was settled. In the afternoon, we went on a paddleboat – the Discovery 3 — and visited a reproduction of a native village: Athabascan.
Day 80 of My 90 Day Challenge
Today was a very long day… we woke up at 4:45 am to catch our bus at 5:30. There is a lottery system for individual cars going through the park – so most people have to be bussed. We had a number of stops where we could take photos — but there was so many absolutely perfect views that I wanted to stop more than we did. I was tempted to bring my paints and I’m glad I didn’t.
Day 79 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
We are off the ship! It’s kind’ve sad… just touring, eating, drinking and painting. However, we are on a land-tour organized by Royal Caribbean. We got here around 5’ish and after a nice walk, I figured out what I was going to paint.
Day 78 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today is a sea day — this am we saw (and heard!) the Hubbard Glacier. Every time a piece broke off it sounded like a cannon firing. Also saw some “snow falls” from the glacier – it looked like a waterfall only it was snow from the glacier pouring in the cold ocean.
Day 77 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
What a glorious sunny day! We arrived in Skagway his morning and the first thing I did was open our curtain so I could see what type of day it would be. The sun was out!!! The excursion I booked was for the railway and we got to see some Alaskan dogs in action as well as the puppies. (Awhhh….) They were only 16 days old so they were very cute.
Day 76 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today, we canoed on Mendenhall Lake to see some of the Mendenhall Glacier. Luckily, the excursion group had boots, raincoats and pants for us because it was raining! And not a little misty rain, it was raining hard. But, I stil had a blast.
Day 75 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today we docked at Icy Strait Point in Alaska. It was a little misty/rainy but not enough to prevent us from walking around and enjoying the scenery.
Day 74 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today we landed in Ketchikan, Alaska and chose to go salmon fishing (had to wake-up at 5:30 am) at Knudson Cove. It was about 20 minutes from Ketchikan. I caught a Silver Salmon aka Coho salmon!
Day 73 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today is a cruising day so actually there isn’t that much too see: a lot of water and sky. However, last night at dinner as we were leaving the Vancouver BC area, I saw this scene. I was interested in the sweeping of the clouds and the bluish-greenish sky against the gray rolling hills and sea. So, I decided to paint this today.
Day 72 of My 90 Painting Challenge
Blue skies!! Just as we were leaving Vancouver. There was still a pile of smoke hugging the mountains, but it was definitely clearing. (Of course!) Right now I’m sitting on our balcony listening to the waves against the ship. Aaahhhh….
Day 71 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Yesterday we toured Vancouver BC and had a wonderful meal on Granville Island. Had black cod — at my local fish store in Ojai they get black cod and I’ve bought it a few times but have never seen it in a restaurant. to say it was superb was an understatement I think we’ve had fish at every meal.
Day 70 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Day 70 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge View from Pan Pacific: Vancouver, Canada Our first night in Vancouver we ate with some lovely co-workers of Kevin’s at Pan Pacific. The view probably would’ve been spectacular (they all told us it would’ve been) but I am having...
Day 69 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Well it was even smokier today. I thought I wasn’t going to paint but since we had to have all the doors and windows open because Greg doesn’t have air conditioning and it was hot – I figured I wasn’t going to be any worse off on his balcony than inside. I worked quickly because we were packing to go to Vancouver.
Day 68 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Laziness made me not want to post last. We walked all over Seattle, had dinner with good friends, and then walked around the Queen Anne area of Seattle.
Day 67 of My 90 Day Challenge
We’re in Seattle! But… friends here are telling me it has been clear and blue. But.. right now they are being inundated from smoke from Vancouver and Portland. Today I actually saw a red sun…haven’t seen that since The Thomas Fire last year.
Day 66 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Carpinteria salt flats is another one of my favorite places to paint… there is something about the marshy grasses against the mountains that is so compelling. I was attracted to paint this one because of the movement of the grasses… some were rushing towards me and others were moving to the side. Beautiful.
Day 65 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
This is from our trip up to Oregon in a rented RV. The coastline in Oregon is magical, powerful and wild. There are many signs saying that you shouldn’t turn your back to the sea. You didn’t see people swimming — I think because the currents in Oregon are so strong. That being said, this was a sweet little spot that we probably could’ve safely swam. There was so much to see that all we could do was drink in our surroundings and then we headed into Coos Bay.
Day 64 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
A few years ago we rented an RV and drove up to Oregon. I used to spend my summers in Canada camping via canoe so the idea of traveling so glam as in an RV was foreign to me.. I loved and truly appreciated it when we drove up to Mt. Shasta.
Day 63 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Last September (it might've been Labor Day) we went to what my son calls "Ojai Beach" - Bates Beach. No, Bates Beach isn't in Ojai... but it's not far and except for the steep walk down the hill (actually going up, especially with all the beach stuff) it's perfect!...
Day 62 of My 90 Day Challenge
I've really been experimenting lately... trying different ways to apply the paint, different marks. This piece from Antelope Valley seemed like the perfect image to play with: from the breezy clouds, the poppies in the distance and the puffy whiteish bushes (I have no...
Day 61 of My 90 Day Challenge
Some of you may look at this painting and think: Lake? I don’t see a lake.... well, it did used to be there, right in front of where the woman is sitting. Now, it’s just dust and grass. We still do have a Lake Casitas, but this portion of the lake is dried...
Day 60 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
The first time I walked by this "information booth" in Davidson, NC - I swore it was Tardis in disguise! For those of you that don't know the good Doctor (and I know my good friend's the Black's know!) that observation is meaningless. But, that being said, I thought...
Day 59 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Yesterday I drove through Upper Ojai to go see some friends exhibits in Santa Paula. On my way back, I had to stop and take a photo of this scene: the building looked so peaceful and frankly - green. The Thomas fire started up here so many areas were black -- this...
Day 58 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I attended an artist talk today at the Santa Paula museum -- they were talking to my friend Gina and discussing her work. One of the questions they asked was why an artist chooses to paint something. It is hard sometimes when you're walking around to know why you're...
90 Day Challenge Exhibit at Buenaventura Art Association’s New Space!
I was going to start selling my little paintings on my website and then I received an email from Sharon Taylor, the Executive Director at Buenaventura Art Association. They have moved to a new space - on the Avenue in Ventura and wondered if I would want to be the...
Day 57 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I know this isn't the typical whitewashed view of Santorini that we're all used to seeing, but that was my motivation for snapping this photo when I was there. I must admit, I have mixed feelings about Santorini -- and it is not Santorini's fault. We were on a cruise...
Day 56 of My 90 Day Challenge
One of the things that is so hard for those of us who live in Southern California is the absolute silence (of man-made sounds) in the great north woods of Canada. My oldest and dearest friend has a cabin on Lake Nemegosenda. How many people are on this lake? There is...
Day 55 of My 90 Day Challenge
Today I dropped a lovely relative off at the Santa Barbara Airport (a fantastic place to fly in and out of!) and I decided to paint plein air at the beach near the airport. I knew it was going to be hot in Ojai and my studio - so wanted to paint where it was cool. I...
Day 54 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
A few years ago, we went to Greece and I took this photo of Lykavittos Hill in Athens. It's the tallest hill in Athens. Unfortunately, I didn't get to go to the top -- there are so many things to do and so little time! All that means is that I have to go back. We...
Day 53 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
So yesterday I decided to work on clouds and today I did more clouds - but as part of a landscape. This piece is larger than most of the ones I've done on this project - it's 8"x10" - I think because I wanted room for the clouds to float around. (I know it doesn't...
Day 52 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Clouds, clouds, clouds... I forgot to post last night. Actually, I did remember, but somehow my laptop got uplugged and all of a sudden - poof! It blinked off. I figured the universe was telling me to get some shuteye. Anyhoo... we don't get many clouds (but lots of...
Day 51 of My 90 Painting Challenge
A few years ago we took a trip up north to the Oregon coast in late October. We rented an RV and because it was off-season, were able to easily find places to stay. This particular scene, I had thought I'd come back towards evening and paint. What I didn't realize is...
Day 50 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today, I painted plein air at the Ojai Meadow Preserve. There's something about leaving the house and getting out there fairly early that's sooo satisfying: Insects humming around, dogs sniffing every plant, the smell of horses. I realized I have painted there so much...
Day 49 of My 90 Day Challenge
As I've said in a previous blog, I painted in a plein air competition in South Lake Tahoe. This field was our first day of painting. The lupine bloom a lot later in Tahoe than they do on Figueroa Mountain. The fragrance is so heavenly that it can be hard to paint, you...
Day 48 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
We moved a lot when I was growing up. But, my constant was Canoe Lake in Algonquin Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. Even as a teenage girl, I knew I was lucky to be there and appreciated every minute that I was there. I was at camp there and a large part of our...
Day 47 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
A hot day in Ojai with a little bit of humidity... surprising. But... I did feel a little cooler while I was painting this scene from Lake Tahoe. (Or maybe it was the air conditioning in my studio lol) A couple of years ago, a friend and I entered a plein air...
Day 46 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
A couple of years ago, we went to Napa for a few days. There are so many wineries there, that it's hard to choose! A friend is a sommelier in Santa Rosa and he recommended a few places - one of them was Inglenook. If I hadn't respected his opinion so much, I might've...
Day 45 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Half way through!!! Can't believe I've been doing this for 45 days. So far, it's a lot of fun, challenging, frustrating... Today, I painted with a group of friends at Mussel Shoals Beach in Ventura, California. It was a typical Southern California beach morning - the...
Day 44 of My 90 Day Challenge
Yes, I often go back into my photo archives and paint Santa Cruz Island -- especially from the winter when the island is green. We went there with some friends from Missouri and while they hiked, I painted! I think I sold the one that I painted that day, but since I...
Day 43 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
My cousin Maria and her husband Apostoli brought Kevin and I to a swim club for a nice swim in the Aegean Sea. It was so beautiful - the water was warm... (for those of us that live in Southern California, warm ocean water just doesn't exist!), it was another perfect...
Day 42 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
So... as I said in my previous post, I decided to paint yesterday's painting over. I thought I didn't like it. This morning, I blocked my painting in, thought if it had a little time to set - I might have more success. Don't think it helped. Now that I finally posted...
Day 41 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I have to admit... I painted this yesterday and when I went to upload (at around 10 pm) I thought I didn't like it. I thought I would cheat and work on it in the am. While I was taking my shower the next morning, I realized I would only be cheating myself. I couldn't...
Day 40 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Ojai Morning Not sure how this is going to work - I'm testing this and writing this post by phone. I'm out of town and painted this is the am before I left. Our mountains are a constant here and I love them! They are in almost every direction. I used to feel like I...
Day 39 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Another day plein air painting. I'm actually practicing for a trip to Alaska later in August - I plain on bringing my paints with me and painting! (I have a very patient and supportive husband) When I was leaving this spot the other day, I noticed a tree that was...
Day 38 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Since I've been working on these pieces, I've painted by photographs I've taken. Today, it's not as hot as it has been so I decided to go to the Ojai Meadow. It was a little hazy, but it was still so wonderful to be outside... to listen to the birds while I painted......
Day 37 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I was driving to work today and Eminem's "Cold Wind Blows" came on. The deep bass grooving under the anger, the F*ck this, F*ck that (and yes, in my mind capital F) reflected perfectly my reaction to our traitorous POTUS. Yes, I don't usually discuss politics in my...
Day 36 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
If you've read any of my posts, you know that Figueroa Mountain is one of my favorite spots - especially the firewatch. I would like to tell you something odd about the top of the mountain. I was painting with a friend. She painted looking at the view you see here. I...
Day 35 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Well, I've painted on all kinds of supports during these 30+ days and I've settled on my favorite: DaVinci Pro Panels with Resist-Grip. I've had some trouble with some of the other panels. I don't know if it's the heat, the humidity or what, but the paint is just...
Day 34 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Last year, I went to Carrizon National Monument with some painter friends. We were "Chasing Wildflowers." It was a long drive through windy mountain roads. We left early so we could be there at early. Most artists like to paint either early or later when the sun isn't...
Day 33 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
One of my favorite places to paint, to visit, to rejuvenate is Figueroa Mountain. Even more special (to me!) is the fire watch. I'm not even sure if that's the name, but it was/is a fire watch - the tower is still there and looks like it's in use. Some years, I've...
Day 32 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Aaaaaaahhhh!!!!!! (is that how you write a scream?) Today, my oils and I had a fight... it actually started yesterday but today it was even worse. Everything felt so slippery - it wasn't my support. Yesterday I painted on cradled board and today on canvas. so... that...
Day 31 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Some of my painting friends and I were "Chasing Wildflowers" last year. One of the places we went was the Poppy Preserve in Antelope Valley. The poppies were absolutely spectacular last year. We arrived at the preserve and it was packed -- there were so many people...
Day 30(!) of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Day 30 - I can't believe it! I'm a 3rd of the way through my 90 Day Challenge. I have to admit, I'm having a great time. On Tuesday's, I work in Camarillo (about 45 minutes away) so I'm in my studio until about 9:00 pm. Yes, I'm tired... but, I look forward to the...
Day 29 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I had so much fun painting reflections yesterday that I decided to do another one! Santa Cruz, a part of the Channel Islands, is one of my favorite places. Santa Cruz is off the coast of Ventura and can be seen at beaches from Oxnard/Ventura to Carpinteria (or maybe...
Day 28 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
It's funny, I never knew Hendry's Beach wasn't the real name -- the "official" name is Arroyo Burro beach. Kind've similar to Bates Beach is really North Rincon Beach. I remember when Kay Zetlmaier and I were running The Ventura Plein Air Invitational, Bates Beach was...
Day 27 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Rancho Camulos is a National Historical landmark located in Piru, California. It is almost 200 years old and is a wonderful place to visit. Once a year, the museum invites artist to paint for a day on the grounds. The docents prepare us a lovely lunch and some of...
Day 26 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Is it hot enough for you? I think it was 110 today. I do have a window air conditioning unit in my studio and usually it cools down quickly -- but today -- it never completely cooled down. I knew I wanted to paint quickly today (last day of out of state company and...
Day 25 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I knew today would be a busy day - had a meeting, baked a birthday cake and made a birthday dinner for Kevin and 15 guests (but he put the ribeye on the spit!) so I wanted to paint something that I felt I could do fairly quickly. Since I have painted the Ojai Meadow...
Day 24 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today was a rough day -- of painting that is. We went to SeaFresh for our 4th of July breakfast and parade-watching. (I also joined the Peace group as it went by SeaFresh) Then came home and knew I had a couple of hours before family came over for BBQ'ing and fun. I...
Day 23 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
As Southern Californians know, June can be a very cold and foggy month at the beach -- we call "June Gloom." I think plein air painters are optimistic by nature - we know this about June and yet, we still head to the ocean to paint. Malibu is particularly attractive:...
Day 22 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I knew this image was from a Lucas & Llewelyn wine club BBQ -- but I didn't know that it was the Valley View Vineyard until I received my wine shipment this month. There was almost the same view that I had set aside to paint! This is located in Solvang and has...
Day 21 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today I chose cradled board that is an unusual size: 4" high by 12" long. I chose to paint the Oxnard Plains today -- I liked this view because it seemed to fit the board well. Oxnard has some of the most fertile farmland in the United States. A friend, whose family...
Day 20 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
As most of my painting buddies know, one of my favorite places to go is "up the mountain" to Figueroa Mountain. There is something about the place that is so magical: the variety of wildflowers (when they are in season); the 360 degree views when you get to the fire...
Day 19 of My 90 Day Art Challenge
This piece is from Copper Harbor, Michigan from the tip of the Keweeknaw that juts out into Lake Superior. Visiting the Upper Peninsula of Michigan reminds me a lot of Ontario, Canada where I used to spend my summers. There is blessed silence of man-made sounds -- you...
Day 18 of My 90 Day Challenge
On a wonderful trip to Maui last year, (our first!) we woke up very early our first morning to watch them sunrise from Haleakalā. The road was long and windy and for someone who is prone to car sickness...was not looking forward to it. We reached the top of the...
Day 17 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Some people have asked me how I pick my painting of the day. That's a good question. All my images are picked out ahead of time and the composition is chosen as well. Today, I chose "Rose Valley Adventure" because I had quite a bit of colors mixed from yesterday's...
Day 16 of of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Had a wonderful time in Houston at a family reunion (Opa! Can you guess our ethnicity?) but even with all the action - I found myself missing my little daily paintings. I remember sitting on the bed in my hotel - it was 11 pm Houston time, but 9 pm California time. I...
Day 15 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
A few years ago, my husband and I decided on the spur of the moment to rent a small RV and drive to Oregon. It was wonderful because it was late October (we actually spent Halloween in the Redwoods and carved a pumpkin) and we had no reservations but were still able...
Day 14 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Couldn't resist doing another Foster Park (with water!!) painting today. I popped in and out of my studio a few times. I'm hosting the AfterGlow for Focus On the Masters on Sunday featuring Jeff Mann. The only problem? I'll be out of town at a family reunion in...
Day 13 of my 90 Day Painting Challenge
Those that live close to Foster Park might not even realize that there are times where you can see the water and the shore. I used to paint with Sally Miller, a wonderful lovely woman full of life and wisdom. She used to bring us to Foster Park and frankly, I found it...
Day 12 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
People don't realize that being a painter isn't just slapping paint on surface. Many of us make our own canvases, cut our own boards, make our own frames. I have a good friend (yes Susan, if you're reading this -- I'm talking about you!) who loves making her canvases....
Day 11 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today did not turn out like I thought. I was planning on getting my painting done early before Father's Day festivities started. As they said, the best laid plans... At about 7:00 pm, I had to excuse myself from guests so I got changed and went to my studio. Luckily,...
Day 10 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
One thing I really like about this project is that if I want to try something slightly different, I don't feel the pressure to make it "right" as if I were painting a larger piece. This piece is 4" x 4" -- Small enough to experiment. I aimed to have large blocks of...
Day 9 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I feel so fortunate to live in my area of California: The Carpinteria Salt Flats are far from my home and the area has it all: ocean, mountains, meadows. There isn't enough time to paint it all. As much as I love the salt flats, I actually chose this image today...
Day 8 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
While San Antonio Creek exists, this little gem of view doesn't exist anymore. A number of years ago a friend told me about this spot and I eagerly went there with my paints. It's on the Ojai Bike Path between Casitas Springs and Oakview. I truly felt as if I were in...
Day 7 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I meant to spend most of the days painting today, but the grands tugged at me (one on the other end of the country) and we all ended up playing Minecraft together on our server. (Don't tell anyone...) It was a full afternoon of fun, building and well...mining. They...
Day 6 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
When I was young, we moved to Northern Quebec. I loved everything about it: the snow, the pines, the lady slippers that popped up in the spring. When we moved back to the States, I was fortunate enough to spend my summers in Ontario canoeing through Algonquin Park and...
Day 5 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Before I get started on today's painting and blog, I thought I would show one of the knives that I use to paint the most: The painting is 4"x4". So...today I had more time, so I thought I'd go larger: 8" x 10". I've made up my mind that all of these are going to be...
Day 4 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today was a very busy day AWAY from my studio. This morning I went to a celebration of Ojai's Trimpin Arch at 9 am. Then, went to my brother's play in Los Angeles. (He wrote and acted in it.) It's called "Forever Bound" and has one more weekend -- it's truly a great...
Day 3 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Today was a tough one... I was part of a mini-studio tour (and sold some paintings) and had spent a lot of time standing in my studio. Afterwards, most of us on the mini-tour went to a winery and had a little vino and treats. So, tired and slightly buzzed...at 5:00...
Day 2 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
Looking for images to paint is a lot like taking a trip down memory lane. I think most artists always have an eye out for a painting wherever we go -- if we aren't able to bring paints, the next best thing is a camera. I took this painting in the UP of Michigan. Any...
Day 1 of My 90 Day Painting Challenge
I was inspired by a workshop I took to start a 90 day painting challenge. A painting a day for 90 days. Eeek! Getting ready for it has been a challenge: I'm painting everything on cradled board and decided to make them all. (Okay...my husband is helping, but the table...
