Don’t Let Your Toe Slip

I’m happy to part of an Ojai Studio Artist Salon at The Beatrice Wood Center of The Arts in Ojai from July 6 – August 17, 2019. A reception for the artists will be held Saturday, July 6, 2019 from 2 – 5 pm.
The piece I entered is called “Don’t Let Your Toe Slip.” My inspiration for the piece was from “The World According to Garp” – specifically, don’t get caught in the Under Toad. If you’ve read the book – you’ll understand the implication – even though, I have to say, I don’t think my painting looks too foreboding!
